We have pumpkins too. Ours are made from clay and not good for eating. Rather they are intended to ward off evil spirits, and attract beneficial ones, and to this end we carve faces in them, which in turn have these desired effects on the aforementioned spirits.
Also we have stuff that defies simple description, and we just call it "Barbara's stuff", and it covers a lot of ground, from tile murals to wood fairies, and usually it involves a lot of bright, happy colors, and words like whimsical and fanciful come to mind. If you can describe it better let us know.
So take a look, and maybe you'll find we have something that was made just for you...
First and foremost we recommend to you our selection of wood-fired, wheel-thrown stoneware and porcelain. In this department we are proud and happy to be working in the tradition of our friend and mentor Herr Wendelin Stahl, late of Burg Coraidelstein in Klotten, Germany, who demonstrated to us first that the pursuit of perfection in form is a perfectly legitimate approach to using a potter's wheel, and second, that clothing these forms in glazes of exceptional beauty is an exciting way to spend your time.
